yeah i dont mind!

but yeah, it just.. yuuki and crew kinda have a few moments in the earlier lns, but then they kinda just get dragged along with the rest of the story just because, and it feels like fuze doesnt know what to do with them, but cant bring himself to either get rid of them, or give them any sort of ending, which led to... really, everything thats currently happening in the story. i havent read the web novel, but i feel like theyre just a leftover from it (since i think i saw someone say they ended up being the main antagonist for most of it, and actually ended up in succeeding in some of their plans)

i really do hope something at least happens with laplace tho, yeah. i cant imagine all the characters repeatedly mentioning how they dont think laplace and yuuki are actually gone just for them to either actually BE gone, or for them to come back and do.... nothing at all. maybe while rimuru travels back to the cardinal world?

and yeah, i really really wanna see it animated, but its probably gonna be a long ass while for the reasons you said..... heres hoping tho

Chapter 26 Sentiments is everything I wanted. (Spoilers ahead, naturally)

Clayman ACTUALLY realizing he might have been under someone's control? Acknowledging that his memory missing for those 30 years is bad and concerning? Confiding in Eva and asking her to STOP HIM?

He's doing his best and I'm so proud of him 🥺 <- really normal about the fictional guy

The cherry on top for me was how Eva responded to the idea of Clayman enslaving the Amritans as, "impossible". I think that's extremely telling as to how weird his behavior was in the main timeline. He really cares about his people and he wants to protect them, not use them like disposable pawns.

It drives me wild that Fuze hinted in the light novels pretty aggressively that Clayman was acting weird but gave us nothing to compare to so I feel like most of us dismissed those hints without further thought. Like- why did- why did you do that- wlsgwkshskhd what a strange choice to have this character be so nuanced and to only show him under spiritual control in the main timeline. Either way, I'm very grateful for the Revenge manga because it's everything we needed and deserved.

Anyway, I very much look forward to seeing Clayman interact with Ramiris next chapter, as was hinted. I wonder if her distaste for him was from his mind control era or before that? If she's mean to him I'll cry 😂 <- mostly kidding

I know that you want only one wife, Benimaru, but I guess your will have to accept two. Also, speaking of which, I really like the fact that this isekai didn't dunk all the women on the protagonist and instead the author went out of their way to establish several other characters as those that are desired by women like Benimaru and Souei. That way you don't feel as if harem was forced on the audience. Also, who said that monsters should follow human customs and have only 1 spouse? Let polyamory prevail! Even if the men would rather run away!

One thing I really appreciate about Slime Tensei's third season so far is just how lived in the world feels

Like, in an outside shot, most shows would tighten their animation budget by only focusing on the two characters talking and adding a bit of market-mumble ADR. But Slime went out of its way with the episode today (S3e3) to show people and momsters bustling around, moving and buying and talking, in both the foreground and the background.

In most shows, it would focus on close ups of the characters talking, or just have the streets enpty entirely. I can think of a few other shows where this detail was there, but for the large part its pretty rare. And even compared to those, Tempest Nation felt BUSY.

Like, Slime Diaries felt lived in, but this episode made it feel like a proper city. And that's so cool.
